Having suspicious mail handling procedures in place for such cases is crucial to minimise the impact the threat presents to the facility and its occupants.

SPOT is our Self Paced Online Training platform that allows users to access their assigned courses at any time. Courses range from Chief Warden, Warden, Emergency Skills Procedures to General Occupant Training. The portal has been built to capture user activity for reporting and compliance purposes. A certificate is issued upon course completion.

Is First 5 Minutes Web-Based Training secure?

First 5 Minutes Web-Bases training is powered by Zoom.

Zoom places security as the highest priority and continually provides a robust set of security features to achieve its goal of providing the most efficient and secure real-time HD meeting service. Zoom’s communications infrastructure for real-time video, audio, and data resides on Zoom dedicated servers. Communications are established over a secured network using 256-bits Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption standard and all shared content is encrypted using Advanced Encryption Standed (AES) 256-bit algorithm.

Can more than one facility/site attend a Web-Based Training session at the same time?

All First 5 Minutes training is site specific. We provide tailored training to meet the bespoke needs of every facility and/or site, enabling a personalised experience while ensuring facility compliance in relation to Australian Standards. We can however in some circumstances provide Webinar training to multiple sites. If you would like to find out more speak to one of our team members today.

Do I need to have a Zoom Account?

No. Anyone can join a Web-Based training event, you do not have to be an existing Zoom user. If you would like to set up a Zoom account, please follow the below steps: You can set up a Zoom account for free –

  • ‘SIGN UP, ITS FREE”;
  • Fill in the mandatory fields;
  • Follow the links or details from your email confirmation.
What are the system requirements?
  • An internet connection – broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE);
  • Speakers and a microphone – built-in or USB plug-in or wireless Bluetooth;
  • A webcam or HD webcam – built-in or USB plug-in;
  • Or, a HD cam or HD camcorder with video capture card.
